All about the three points

A really short report for this one.

Usually this season I've looked for the funny aspects of a game, but this game was about the 3 points.

Fair play to Long Lane, they are a good side, their manager is a decent bloke, as are his players, and if we don't win the league I genuinely hope they do.

Tonight we were much better than them, all over the park. It was our best performance of the season by a country mile and has set us up for 2 games against Elmstead which will make or break the season.

Good goals (apart from Matt's pen, which was awful, but went in (it was never a pen!) ) Rich Pile got his first of the season. He didn't seem to remember much about it after, saying "it fell to my left peg, and I just mis-hit it into the corner". Well done Rich, a much deserved goal. Danny & Pat got headers, good ones at that. Very odd. Pat got injured, 3 times. At one point I went on without the medical kit and told him "You're OK, get up". It worked.

Well played boys, you'll be pleased that to know that I am un-suspended next week, so I can pick myself and probably mess up all your hard work!!!

Me and Gibbo were very amused after when Ellis asked the ref "Did you have a good time tonight?"

Weirdo.
