Another non Saturday game, which we seem to be specialising in, with another victory.

I was late for this one and when I arrived we were all ready 1-0 up, Bill Webb scoring it. As I didn\'t see it I\'ve decided that Bill picked up the ball on the edge of our area and proceeded to dribble through their entire team, before unleashing a 35-yard wonder strike in off the bar, like Tony Yeboah against Liverpool. That\'s almost definitely what happened.

They equalised not long after I got there, the ref overruling Lee Cross\' offside flag. Lee is a fantastic Lino, so I\'m backing him 100%.

Bill Webb\'s header made it 2-1 just before half time.

2nd half we were pretty dominant. A great bit of play including at least 6 players lead to Errol Ahmed scoring from close range. Bill completed his treble with a right foot lob. I didn\'t know Bill could kick it with his right foot, so a massive bonus.

It then got really dark. They got a pen, I don\'t know if it was deserved, I couldn\'t see.

Rich Piles\' early injury meant that he had time to go down the chip shop and take the key to the changing rooms with him. Apologies to the vets who wanted to go home after training. But these apologies are not heartfelt as I got a bag of chips out of it, which is far more important.

Another good performance. We have about 300 more friendlies as our league season doesn\'t start till about November. So onto Saturday to make it 3 in a row.
